Notes:
An X68000 rip of Mahou Daisakusen, AKA. Sorcer
Striker in worldwide. This X68k port was rele-
ased only in Japan, and published by Electro-
nic Arts Victor. This pack is unoptimized tho,
cuz opt_oki is still in progress. I didn't use
vgm_cmp or vgm_sro, because vgm_sro does do
nothing on the chip. And might ValleyBell can't
properly analyze it, and tagging is fine,
right? Well, i think it doesn't affect the
analysing, so yeah. I've leave it unchanged and
unoptimized, because I think it is fine tho.
Here's some notes on each track that I trimmed
of. On track 16, there's some silent audio at
the beginning, cuz when i trimmed it onto the
exact samples, it cuts the channel and it re-
sults by not playing the notes on the YM2151
chip, only the drums. So, I guess they forgot
to put some drums on the beginning, like the
arcade was. On Track 02, which is credit SFX,
I included in here, cuz I think it supposed to
add credits when pressing F2 on the game, and
It was listed in the soundtrack Also, it was
hard to trim the entire track. Like I said,
it muting the channels when i'm trimming on
the exact sample. So ValleyBell told me the try
to trim earlier like 100 to 400 samples far
from the exact waveform view in Audacity. So
I did his tip, and it works. I ripped the
entire VGM file using MAME because, I don't
have the 2021 build of XM6 VGM Mod. Thanks to
BoxCubed, again for sending me this VGM mod.
Also, thank you ValleyBell for helping me out,
because this is my first X68k rip i've ever
done. The track names are taken from "Mahou
Daisakusen Original Soundtrack" (WM-0701~2).
except the English tag, which I used the game-
rip version of X68000 taken from khinsider and
Zophar. Also, the composers of this port, is
different, like Akira Takemoto and H.Holon.
I find his names on zophar, but I included the
original composer of this game just to make
sure. But I can't find the full name of H.
Holon, so I leave his name unchanged. I might
still update it from the future if I have
enough information on this X68000 port.
